Tragic Electrocution Claims Life of Young Man in Thane District

A 21-year-old man tragically lost his life due to electrocution in Thane district, Maharashtra. This unfortunate event was reported by the police on Wednesday.

The incident occurred on Monday evening at the Kashmir Compound ground located in the Nalapaar area of Bhiwandi city.

Victim Identification

The deceased has been identified as Sajjad Lal Mohammad Jabbar Ansari, a resident of the Karivali Talaab area in Bhiwandi. He came into contact with an electric pole while at the ground, resulting in a fatal shock.

Emergency Response

According to an officer from the Bhoiwada police station, Ansari received a severe electric shock and collapsed immediately. Bystanders rushed him to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead by medical staff.

Investigation Underway

The police have sent the body for post-mortem examination and have registered a case of accidental death. An official stated that they are investigating whether any negligence contributed to this incident.
