A heartbreaking event occurred when a six-year-old boy drowned in a swimming pool located in Pitampura, Delhi.

The child, identified as Taksh Rathi, was at the facility with a friend for a swim. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he was pronounced dead upon arrival. This unfortunate incident transpired at the Malik Swimming Pool, which is managed by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi.
Lack of Safety Measures Reported
Preliminary investigations revealed that the facility lacked CCTV surveillance and adequate safety protocols.
The police have initiated an inquiry and registered a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Separate Incident of Robbery and Murder
In another case, Delhi Police apprehended three minors involved in a robbery that resulted in the murder of a victim who was stabbed while resisting the theft of his mobile phone and other belongings.
Following leads, law enforcement captured the juveniles and recovered a dagger used in the crime, along with the victim's wallet and ID card. The minors reportedly committed the act to obtain quick money to support a lifestyle beyond their means.
On June 10, police received information from Deep Chand Bandhu Hospital regarding an individual named Amit Kumar, who had been admitted with stab wounds inflicted by unknown attackers.
