A heartbreaking incident occurred in Bundi district, Rajasthan, on Friday, transforming the joy of a wedding celebration into deep sorrow. Two young cousins tragically drowned while swimming in a farm pond located in the Karwar police station area, leading to widespread grief in the village.

According to reports, the children were attending a family event in the village of Bijalba, situated within the Karwar police jurisdiction. During the festivities, they ventured to bathe in a nearby farm pond.

While swimming, they misjudged the depth of the water and both drowned. Despite the efforts of nearby individuals to rescue them, it was too late.

The Victims

The deceased were cousins and residents of Fatukda village in the Karwar area. The news of their tragic demise sent shockwaves through their family. Currently, the police have not disclosed the identities of the children.
