A Heartbreaking Incident Unfolds
In a tragic turn of events in Jhunjhunu district, a husband and wife took their own lives at different locations within a few hours of each other. The wife first ended her life by hanging herself at their home in Padampura village. Upon hearing the news, her husband, who was en route to Jaipur, jumped in front of a train near Nawalgarh, leaving behind a poignant message on social media that read, 'Miss you Bharti... I can't live without you... I kept my promise to you, and now I miss you, my child.'
Background of the Couple
Sachin Dudhwal, 25, had married Bharti, 23, in 2024. Reports indicate that Bharti wished to visit her ailing mother but was unable to do so, leading to a dispute between the couple. Sachin worked at a private factory in Jaipur and had left for work on Saturday morning. Just hours after he departed, Bharti took her own life, which devastated Sachin, prompting him to end his life on the railway tracks.
Details of the Incident
Sachin's tragic death occurred around 1:15 PM on Saturday at the railway underpass near Nawalgarh. Following the incident, a railway police team from Sikar arrived to recover the body, which was then taken to the mortuary at Nawalgarh District Hospital. Gokul, a relative and former Panchayat member, identified Sachin's body, noting that he had been home for 10-12 days before returning to Jaipur.
A Child Left Behind
The couple had celebrated their one-year-old son Priyanshu's birthday just two days prior. Now, the young child faces a future without either parent.
Allegations of Dowry Harassment
Chamanprakash, Bharti's brother, has accused the in-laws of dowry harassment and has filed a complaint. Bharti's post-mortem was conducted at the government hospital in Chidawa, while Sachin's body remains in the mortuary at Nawalgarh District Hospital.
