The tragic event took place in Babukheda village, located in the Bighapur area. Reports indicate that Gangadin Lodhi had been in a long-term relationship with a married woman from the same village, while his wife, Aarti, was unaware of this until recently. Upon learning about the affair, Aarti expressed her discontent.
Allegations of Violence and Poisoning
Due to their lack of children, tensions had already existed between Gangadin and Aarti. Late Sunday night, another argument erupted, during which Gangadin reportedly assaulted Aarti and subsequently administered poison to her. After committing the act, he fled the scene.
Investigation and Autopsy Findings
According to Bighapur police station chief Rajpal, an autopsy revealed that Aarti had ingested poison, but there were no visible signs of physical injury on her body.
