In a heartbreaking incident in the Kasba area of South Kolkata, the bodies of a man, his wife, and their child were discovered hanging in their apartment on Tuesday, according to police reports. A police official stated that neighbors alerted the authorities after noticing the family had not responded for some time.

Upon receiving the information, police arrived at the scene and forced entry into the flat, where they found all three individuals suspended from the ceiling. The official mentioned, "An investigation is currently underway. It is challenging to determine whether this is a case of suicide or murder until we receive the post-mortem report."
