Investigation Underway After Student's Body is Discovered

In a tragic incident in Hardoi district, Uttar Pradesh, the body of a 15-year-old student was found beneath a cement slab on an under-construction bypass along Bawan Road on Sunday. Local authorities have confirmed the discovery.

The deceased has been identified as Ayush Gupta, also known as Umang, a resident of Baba Mandir Chauhan Thok in the city. According to police, Umang had left his home on Saturday, telling his family he was going out with friends, but he did not return.

His father had previously filed a missing person report. Police officer Ankit Mishra stated that a medical board is conducting an autopsy on the body, which is being recorded via videography. Investigations are ongoing, and actions will be taken based on the findings.

Upon hearing the news of the body being found, a large crowd gathered at the scene. Family members have accused a friend of Ayush of murder and concealing the body. The local police arrived promptly and sent the body for post-mortem examination. The officer assured that the police are thoroughly investigating all aspects of the case and aim to resolve the incident soon.
