Fatal Accident on National Highway

In Rajasthan, a high-speed container reportedly collided with two vans, resulting in the deaths of two employees working for a company associated with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), while two others sustained injuries, according to police reports.


The incident occurred around 2 PM on Wednesday near Raipura, along the Kota-Baran highway, under the jurisdiction of the Kota Industrial Area police station.


As per police information, the four employees—Dayaram (the driver), Rajkumar (the assistant), Sunil, and Monu—were traveling in two separate vans from Kota to Baran.


It was noted that they had stopped their vehicles on the highway near Raipura when the accident took place.


Authorities reported that all four individuals were promptly transported to the New Medical College Hospital in Kota, where Rajkumar, aged 22, was declared dead upon arrival, and Dayaram, aged 23, succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
