Tragic Collision in Pratapgarh Claims Lives of Two Young Men

Fatal Accident in Lohia Nagar Market

On Friday evening at around 7 PM, a tragic accident occurred on the Amethi-Chilbila road, located 30 kilometers from the Pratapgarh district headquarters. A high-speed dumper collided with a motorcycle, resulting in the deaths of two young men, as reported by local authorities.

The Additional Superintendent of Police for the Eastern Region, Shailendra Lal, provided details later that evening. The victims, identified as 19-year-old Aditya Vishwakarma and 23-year-old Manoj Vishwakarma, were riding their motorcycle when the dumper struck them, causing severe injuries.

Lal further stated that both individuals were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, but unfortunately, the medical staff pronounced them dead upon arrival. The police have sent the bodies for post-mortem examinations and initiated further legal proceedings in the case.
