Tragic Collision in Nashik Claims Four Lives, Injures Six
Fatal Accident in Nashik District
A devastating head-on collision between two vehicles in Nashik district, Maharashtra, resulted in the deaths of four individuals on Wednesday afternoon, with three of the deceased hailing from Rajasthan. Additionally, six others sustained injuries in the incident, as reported by local authorities.
According to police, the crash occurred on a national highway in the Dindori taluka of the district. At approximately 3 PM, an Ertiga car traveling from Nashik towards Peth collided with a Scorpio SUV coming from the opposite direction near the Chachadgaon toll plaza, leading to the tragic fatalities.
The victims have been identified as Chhogalal Hiralal Gurjar (75), Kishanlal Hiralal Gurjar (45), and Poonam Gurjar (40), all residents of Devgarh in Rajsamand district, who were passengers in the SUV.
The driver of the Ertiga, identified as Shahrukh Khan Farakat Khan (28) from Silvassa in Dadra and Nagar Haveli, also lost his life in the crash. Police confirmed that at least six individuals were injured and have been admitted to Nashik District Hospital and a private medical facility. Both vehicles were severely damaged in the accident.
