Fatal Accident in Garhwa District

Late Sunday night, a tragic accident involving a car and a truck in the Bel Champa area of Garhwa district, Jharkhand, resulted in the deaths of at least four individuals, as reported by local authorities on Monday.


Sunil Kumar Tiwari, the officer in charge of Garhwa police station, stated, “The bodies were extricated from the mangled vehicle using a gas cutter. The impact was so severe that the car veered off and collided with a house located by the roadside.”


He further mentioned that the deceased have been sent to the hospital for post-mortem examinations, and an investigation into the incident is currently underway. The victims were residents of the Pandu and Vishrampur police station areas in Palamu district.


At the time of the accident, they were returning from a wedding ceremony in the village of Bilaspur, located in Shri Vanshidhar Nagar. The deceased have been identified as Narendra Kumar Paswan (30), Jitendra Kumar Paswan (28), Badal Paswan (18), and Vicky Paswan (18).
