Fatal Accident in Annamayya District

In a tragic incident in Andhra Pradesh's Annamayya district, three individuals lost their lives, and five others suffered serious injuries following a collision between a lorry and a tempo traveller, as reported by local authorities on Monday.


The accident occurred in the Kurabalakota Mandal area of the Tamballapalle Constituency. According to Sub-Inspector Dilip from Dommanna Bavi, an unidentified lorry struck the tempo traveller. The critically injured victims were promptly transported to Madanapalle Government Hospital using the 108 ambulance service.


Transport Minister Mandipalli Ram Prasad Reddy acknowledged the unfortunate event and expressed his condolences to the victims' families. He instructed hospital officials to ensure that the injured receive immediate medical attention.


Additionally, the Minister urged transport authorities to commence swift rescue operations at the scene of the accident. Sub-Inspector Dilip confirmed that a case has been filed, and an investigation is currently in progress.
