Fatal Accident on Bareilly-Nainital Highway

On Wednesday, a devastating collision occurred between a motorcycle and a tractor-trailer on the Bareilly-Nainital highway, resulting in the immediate deaths of two friends. According to Arun Kumar Singh, the police officer in charge of the Baheri area, the victims, Mohammad Saif (21) and Mahtab (19), were riding their motorcycle to celebrate the New Year in Nainital.


The tragic incident took place near the Mundia toll plaza when their motorcycle collided violently with the tractor-trailer, leading to the untimely demise of both young men. The motorcycle was severely damaged in the crash. Upon receiving the report, the police arrived at the scene and seized the tractor-trailer. The bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem examination.
