Tragic Car Accident in Navi Mumbai Claims One Life and Injures Eight

Fatal Collision in Kharghar

A high-speed vehicle collided with several motorcycles in Navi Mumbai, resulting in the death of a 23-year-old man and leaving eight others critically injured, as reported by an official on Friday. The incident occurred early Wednesday morning on the Hiranandani Bridge in the Kharghar area.

A group of friends from the Dharavi region of Mumbai was riding their two-wheelers towards Lonavala when they were struck by the speeding car. The victim, identified as Manav Yelappa Kucchikurve, tragically lost his life in the accident, while the other eight individuals sustained serious injuries and have been admitted to a hospital.

According to an officer from the Kharghar police station, the driver of the car fled the scene following the collision. A case has been registered, and efforts are underway to locate the driver.
