Tragic Car Accident in Hardoi Claims Five Lives

Fatal Incident in Hardoi District

In a tragic event early Saturday morning, a speeding car plunged into a ditch in Hardoi district, resulting in the deaths of five individuals and injuries to six others, as reported by local police officials.

According to Anuj Mishra, the police area officer, the incident occurred around 3 AM on the Alamnagar route near Fattepur Ghazi. The victims were returning from a wedding in the Manjhila area of Kusuma police jurisdiction.

Mishra explained that the vehicle lost control, overturned, and subsequently fell into the ditch.

The deceased have been identified as Jitendra (22), Akash (18), Siddharth (6), Ramu (35), and Johri (40).

Additionally, six other passengers sustained injuries and have been admitted to the district hospital for treatment. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination.
