Fatal Incident in Mandya

On Sunday, a tragic car accident in Mandya resulted in the deaths of three family members, including two women. Authorities reported that the driver lost control of the vehicle, which subsequently crashed into a bridge on the Bengaluru-Mangaluru National Highway in the Nagamangala area of Mandya district.


The deceased have been identified as Chandragouda (62) and Sarojamma (57), both residents of Chikmagalur. According to police sources, they were returning to their hometown at the time of the accident.


In a separate incident near Agarliganna Doddi in Maddur taluk, a private bus overturned on a service road, injuring over 30 individuals. Local residents rushed to assist the passengers following the accident.


The passengers were en route to Bengaluru after visiting the Shimsha Maramma Temple located in Malavalli. The injured were transported to hospitals in Mandya and Maddur for medical attention.
