In a tragic event late Monday night (December 1, 2025), two young individuals lost their lives instantly, while two others suffered severe injuries when their vehicle veered off course near the paragliding launch area in Bir-Billing, plunging into a steep gorge.

Reports indicate that the victims and the injured are from the Gagret, Aehju, Bhawarna, and Panchrukhi regions.

Upon learning of the incident, nearby residents promptly alerted the authorities. Rescue teams quickly arrived at the scene, retrieving the injured from the gorge and transporting them to a medical facility for urgent care.

The police have initiated an investigation into the accident, having filed a case. Initial findings suggest that the car lost control, resulting in this unfortunate incident.
