Fatal Accident in Kalahandi District
Kalahandi: A tragic incident occurred in Odisha's Kalahandi district early Thursday morning, resulting in one fatality and five injuries when a bus collided with a stationary truck, according to police reports.
The collision took place around 3:30 AM near Charbahal, within the jurisdiction of the Koksara police station.
The private bus was en route from Bhubaneswar to Umerkote in Nabarangpur when it struck the truck parked on the roadside from behind.
Emergency services were quick to respond, rescuing passengers trapped inside the bus. Those injured were promptly taken to Junagarh hospital for treatment.
