A tragic accident occurred during a bungee jumping event in Brazil, resulting in the death of a 21-year-old woman. The incident took place on Saturday morning at the "Skeleton Bridge" located in Limeira, São Paulo. According to reports from local media, it appears that the safety cord was not properly attached by event staff before the woman made her jump, as stated by witnesses to the Military Police. Social media footage captured moments before the jump showed event workers guiding her to the platform, followed by shouts from onlookers regarding the safety rope after the fall. Prior to the incident, Rodrigues de Freitas had shared images and videos from the event, showcasing the setup and other participants using the equipment on the bridge.



In a social media post before her jump, she humorously questioned, "Who was the crazy person who let me come jump off a bridge???" Following the incident, reports indicated that several organizers fled the scene. Subsequently, six individuals associated with the event were detained, including five men and one woman. A local rescue team reported that two suspects who had left the area were later found with the help of a police helicopter during a search in a nearby wooded region. Local reports also mentioned that Rodrigues de Freitas's fiancé was present at the bridge and required medical attention after he became distressed upon learning of her death.
