Tragic Bomb Attack in Balochistan Claims Lives of Security Personnel

Deadly Roadside Bomb Targets Security Forces in Balochistan
Islamabad: A roadside bomb attack in Pakistan's Balochistan province has resulted in the deaths of five paramilitary personnel and left six others injured, according to security officials.
The explosion occurred around 11:45 AM local time (0645 GMT) in the Kachhi district, targeting a convoy of the Frontier Corps with an improvised explosive device, as reported by sources who requested anonymity.
Officials confirmed that the convoy, consisting of six vehicles, was conducting a routine patrol when the blast occurred, leading to casualties.
In response, security forces have secured the area and initiated a search operation to identify the perpetrators of the attack.
The injured personnel were transported to local medical facilities for urgent care, with several reported to be in critical condition.
As of now, no group has taken responsibility for the bombing. However, local security sources indicate that the Balochistan Liberation Army-Azad faction (BLA-A) is active in the region, alongside various smaller armed groups.
Just last week, a significant assault by the Fateh Squad of the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) in Mongochar, Kalat district, led to extensive damage to government properties and the obstruction of the Quetta-Karachi highway.
Reports suggest that BLA militants halted traffic on the highway, conducting searches on multiple vehicles, including passenger buses.
They also seized control of several government buildings in Mongochar, including the offices of the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), the Judicial Complex, and the National Bank of Pakistan, setting them ablaze.
The fire caused substantial damage to these structures, and the militants escaped before security forces could respond.
