A Heartbreaking Incident Unfolds

Maharashtra Crime News: In a shocking incident in Dombivli, Maharashtra, an orphaned young woman faced unimaginable suffering when she was brutally attacked by her friend's family. Reports indicate that the assault stemmed from false allegations, leading to a severe beating by her friend's father and relatives. The traumatized girl, left injured and frightened, wanted to file a police report but had no family member to accompany her.

In her desperation, she turned to the social media platform Snapchat for help. She reached out to a young man named Krish Bhoi, whom she had recently met, sharing her ordeal and asking for assistance to go to the police station. However, instead of taking her to the station, he deceived her and drove her to a deserted area where he took advantage of her vulnerability and assaulted her.

Robbery and Escape

The horror did not end there. The perpetrator also stole the money the victim had on her and took her mobile phone. Fearing capture, he removed the SIM card from the phone and discarded it before fleeing, leaving the victim helpless.

Action Taken After Shiv Sena's Intervention

Summoning her courage, the victim made her way to the Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) central office. Recognizing the seriousness of the situation, local MLA Rajesh More instructed members of the Shiv Sena women's wing to accompany her to the police station. Police officer Sampat Phadol and his team acted swiftly, initiating a technical investigation that led to the arrest of Krish Bhoi within an hour.

Authorities suspect that the accused may have committed similar offenses in the past, and the investigation is being led by female police officer Priyanka Sadalkar. Shiv Sena official Kiran Mondkar expressed deep concern over the incident, highlighting the urgent need for improved safety measures for women.
