Brutal Attack on Two Men in Madhya Pradesh

In a shocking incident in the Mehgaon region of Raisen district, Madhya Pradesh, a mob violently attacked two individuals suspected of cow smuggling. This brutal assault occurred on June 5, resulting in one man's death and leaving the other in critical condition.


Details of the Assault


Reports indicate that the victims were transporting between six to ten cows late at night when they were confronted by a group claiming to be part of a cow protection organization. The mob proceeded to beat the men severely at the scene.


Hospitalization of the Victims


A disturbing video circulating online captured the vigilantes inflicting violence on the two men. They were subsequently taken to Hamidia Hospital in Bhopal with police assistance. One of the victims, Junaid, had been on a ventilator for two weeks before succumbing to his injuries on the morning of June 17.


Recent Arrests in Mathura House Collapse


In a separate incident, two individuals were apprehended on Tuesday following the collapse of six houses in Mathura on June 15, which resulted in three fatalities, including two children. According to police, the accused were presented in court the same day.


Cause of the Collapse


The tragic event in Mathura's Masani area was attributed to negligent soil excavation practices. The deceased have been identified as Totaram (35) and two children, Kajal and Yashoda. In the aftermath, authorities announced a reward of Rs 25,000 for information leading to the arrest of the main suspect, Sunil Gupta, and his accomplice, who were allegedly responsible for the unsafe digging that caused the collapse.
