In a tragic incident in the Shahpur police station area of Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, a speeding truck collided with a tempo near Kakda village, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and leaving six others, including three women, seriously injured. According to police reports, the accident occurred on Wednesday night as the victims were returning to Budhana town from Muzaffarnagar.
The deceased have been identified as Gulshan, aged 40, and Ashifa, aged 10. Following the collision, the truck driver fled the scene, abandoning the vehicle. Authorities have confirmed that the bodies have been sent for post-mortem examinations, while the injured individuals are receiving treatment at a local hospital. Efforts are underway to locate the driver who escaped.
