Accident in Khargone District

A tragic incident occurred late at night in the Uun police station area of Khargone district, where two young men riding a motorcycle were swept away while crossing a bridge. One of the riders managed to swim to safety, but his companion remains missing. Upon receiving news of the incident, local police and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) launched an extensive search operation for the missing individual.

Bridge Incident Due to Strong Water Flow

The accident took place around 10 PM at a bridge located between Uun and Gandhavad. Reports indicate that heavy rainfall had caused flooding at the bridge. The two young men, identified as Vinay Vaskale and Vasu, were returning from Indore where they had gone for admission-related work. During their return, the strong current of water swept their motorcycle away, leading to both of them being carried off.

One Rescued, One Missing

Immediately following the accident, Vasu successfully swam to safety and escaped the perilous situation. Unfortunately, Vinay Vaskale was swept away by the strong current, and there has been no trace of him since. The motorcycle belonging to the young men was discovered approximately 300 meters away from the accident site in a nearby drain.
