Fatal Collision in Hamirpur District

In a tragic incident near Narayanpur village in the Sumerpur police station area of Hamirpur district, an unidentified vehicle collided with a car, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and leaving five others seriously injured.


According to police reports, the accident occurred around 2 AM on Sunday when a wedding party's car was en route from Kalpi to Devgaon in Sumerpur. The vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle, causing severe injuries to all seven occupants.


Emergency services transported the injured to the district hospital, where doctors pronounced 11-year-old Shobhit, son of Mast Ram, and 23-year-old Saurabh Pal dead upon arrival.


The remaining injured individuals are currently receiving treatment at the district hospital. Anup Kumar Singh, the station officer, confirmed that both deceased have been sent for post-mortem examinations. The police are actively working to identify the vehicle responsible for the collision.
