Fatal Collision In Bharatpur
A tragic incident occurred near Saras Chowk in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, where a gas tanker struck a couple riding a motorcycle, resulting in their immediate deaths. This information was confirmed by local police on Saturday.
According to Assistant Sub-Inspector Radha Kishan, who oversees the Saras police station, the accident took place in the morning. The victims, 36-year-old Netrapal Gurjar and his 32-year-old wife Kripa, were traveling on their bike when the gas tanker, en route from Jaipur to Agra, collided with them, leading to their untimely demise. The driver of the tanker fled the scene after the incident.
Kishan further revealed that Netrapal, a farmer by profession, was visiting Bharatpur to see his children—19-year-old daughter Nidhi, 18-year-old daughter Neha, and 15-year-old son Durgesh—who were staying at their uncle's house in the police line area for their studies. The police have seized the tanker and are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the vicinity to locate the escaped driver.
