Fatal Collision in Mirzapur Area

In a heartbreaking incident in the Mirzapur region of Saharanpur district, two students lost their lives after being struck by a bus while returning home on a motorcycle from their tuition classes. The police have apprehended the bus driver and seized the vehicle involved in the accident.


According to police officer S.N. Vaibhav Pandey, the victims, Aryan (15) and Deepak (17), were riding their motorcycle back to their village from tuition in the Behat area around 8:30 PM on Sunday night.


As they traveled near Jatowala village on the Vikas Nagar road, a speeding private bus collided with their motorcycle, causing both students to fall and be run over by the bus.


Upon receiving the report, police arrived at the scene and rushed the students to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, Aryan was pronounced dead on arrival, while Deepak succumbed to his injuries during treatment at the district hospital.


Pandey confirmed that the bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, and the bus driver has been taken into custody along with the vehicle.
