Fatal Incident in Azamgarh District

On Monday morning, a tragic accident in the serious area of Azamgarh district resulted in the deaths of two female students after being struck by a speeding car, as reported by local authorities. Police sources indicated that the incident occurred on the main road connecting Azamgarh and Varanasi, where a fast-moving vehicle hit the students, identified as Aanchal Yadav (21) and Anshika Yadav (20).


Witnesses reported that both students were severely injured and were promptly taken to a nearby hospital with the assistance of locals. Aanchal Yadav was transferred to Azamgarh for advanced medical care but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries en route. Meanwhile, Anshika Yadav was taken to a hospital in Lalganj, where she was pronounced dead by medical staff.


The accident transpired around 8:30 AM while the students were cycling to Shri Mata Prasad Degree College located in Maikhargpur. Authorities have registered a case and initiated a search for the driver of the car, with an ongoing investigation into the incident.
