A tragic accident on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway resulted in the deaths of two police officers, as reported by an official on Monday. The officers, who were deployed for security during the Amarnath Yatra, were returning from Srinagar to Jammu when the incident occurred in the Tenggan area of Lasjan.
The official further stated that the injured officers were promptly transported to a hospital, where medical personnel pronounced two of them dead. The deceased have been identified as Sachin Verma and Shubham, while the injured officer is recognized as Mastan Singh.
