Fatal Collision in Greater Noida

On Friday, a tragic accident occurred on Khurja Road in the Jewar police jurisdiction, resulting in the deaths of two motorcyclists after being struck by a car.


According to Sanjay Kumar Singh, the officer in charge of Jewar police station, the victims were identified as 31-year-old Himanshu Agnihotri from Sector 12 in Noida and 26-year-old Gaurav Chhabra from Ashok Nagar in Sonipat, Haryana. Both men resided in a rented accommodation in Jewar and worked at a private bank branch located in Thora village.


Singh reported that the collision occurred near the Neemka Khajpur bridge on Khurja Road when an oncoming car collided with their motorcycle, causing severe injuries to both individuals.


The police promptly transported them to a private hospital in Jewar for medical attention, where doctors later pronounced them dead. Singh noted that neither of the victims was wearing helmets at the time of the accident. The police are currently investigating the incident.
