Tragic Accident Claims Lives of Three Migrant Workers in Tamil Nadu
Fatal Incident During Construction Work
On Saturday, a tragic accident in the Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu resulted in the deaths of three migrant workers due to the collapse of a sand pile and a wall. Officials reported the incident, which occurred while excavation was taking place at a residential site in the Jegathala Town Panchayat area.
During the construction activities, a sand mound unexpectedly fell on the workers. Other laborers present at the scene, along with local residents, promptly alerted the police and fire rescue services. Emergency teams managed to extract the three workers from the sand and rushed them to a nearby government hospital.
Unfortunately, medical personnel at the hospital pronounced all three dead upon arrival. The deceased, identified as Abdul Rahman, Nasir, and Usman, were aged between 22 and 36 years. Authorities have confirmed that a case has been registered, and an investigation into the incident is underway.
