Tragic Accident Claims Lives of Four in Bijnor District

Fatal Collision in Bijnor

In a tragic incident in the Nangla police jurisdiction of Bijnor district, a car collided with a dumper truck from behind, resulting in the deaths of four individuals, including an Islamic scholar. Authorities reported the incident on Monday.

According to Nitesh Pratap Singh, the Circle Officer of Najibabad, the accident occurred late Sunday night around 11:30 PM on the Haridwar road, near the village of Jalpur, where the car crashed into the dumper ahead.

Upon receiving the accident report, police arrived at the scene and had to cut open the car doors to retrieve the bodies. The deceased have been identified as Islamic scholar Qari Iqbal (75), Ashfaq (65), Ehtesham (25), and Salahuddin (26). Police indicated that Qari Iqbal was returning from addressing an event at a madrasa. Legal proceedings are underway regarding the incident.
