Tragic Accident Claims Lives of Couple in Chandauli District

Fatal Collision in Baburi Police Area

On Friday evening, a high-speed pickup truck collided violently with a motorcycle carrying a couple in the Baburi police jurisdiction of Chandauli district, resulting in their deaths, according to police reports.

Arun Kumar Singh, the police circle officer of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Nagar, stated that Vinod Yadav (38) and his wife Neelam Yadav (35), residents of Kateriya village, were riding their motorcycle when they were struck by the speeding pickup near the Leva-Ilia road in front of Bhudkuda village.

Singh further informed that Vinod Yadav died instantly at the scene, while Neelam succumbed to her injuries shortly after arriving at the hospital. The police are currently searching for the driver of the pickup, who fled the scene following the incident.
