Tragic Accident Claims Lives of Couple in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh

Fatal Collision in Barabanki District

In a heartbreaking incident in Barabanki district, Uttar Pradesh, a couple riding a motorcycle lost their lives after being struck by a speeding dumper. Authorities reported the incident on Sunday.

According to police, the victims, identified as Chhotu (35) and his wife Rita (30), were traveling with their four-year-old child from their home in Gadiya Purwa, Gomti Nagar Extension, to visit a relative in the Deva area.

The collision occurred near the Jaruwa turn on the Chinhat road, where the dumper collided with their motorcycle, resulting in the immediate deaths of the couple. Their injured child was rushed to a private hospital for treatment.

Following the accident, the dumper driver fled the scene, and police are actively working to apprehend him. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination.
