Fatal Incident on Chakia-Chanduali Road
On Saturday evening, a young man lost his life after being struck by a speeding unidentified vehicle on the Chakia-Chanduali road in the Shahabganj police jurisdiction of Chanduali district. Authorities confirmed the incident.
The victim has been identified as Ramesh Kumar, a 32-year-old resident of Badgawan in the Shahabganj area. According to police, Ramesh was heading towards the village of Thakaha when the tragic accident occurred around 7 PM.
Reports indicate that the vehicle not only hit Ramesh but also ran over his body before fleeing the scene. The police have sent the remains for a post-mortem examination and are actively searching for the driver who escaped.
