Fatal Incident in Tamkuhi Raj Area
In a tragic event in the Tamkuhi Raj region of Kushinagar district, a woman lost her life after being struck by an unidentified vehicle. Authorities reported the incident on Friday.
According to police, the accident occurred late Thursday night when Kalawati Devi, aged 46, was walking along the northern service lane near the main overbridge intersection of Tamkuhi Raj. She was hit by a speeding, out-of-control vehicle.
The woman sustained severe injuries and was immediately transported to a nearby community health center. Due to her critical condition, she was referred to the district hospital, but unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries en route.
The police have since sent her body for a post-mortem examination.
