Mechanic Dies After Falling from Scooter

A 34-year-old mechanic tragically lost his life in Bengaluru after falling from his scooter while being rushed to the hospital. The family of the deceased claims that the medical center, which confirmed he had suffered a heart attack, failed to provide essential first aid, leading to this unfortunate incident.

A CCTV footage related to the incident has gone viral on social media. The video shows a man named Venkataramanan lying on the road after falling from his two-wheeler on December 13, while his injured wife, Roopa, is seen pleading for help from passersby.

According to the family, Venkataramanan had complained of chest pain, prompting his wife to take him on their scooter to a private hospital in Balaji Nagar around 3:30 AM. However, they were denied treatment due to the absence of a doctor.

Subsequently, Roopa took him to another hospital, where an electrocardiogram (ECG) confirmed that he had indeed suffered a heart attack. Unfortunately, he was referred to the Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences without receiving immediate care.

The family alleges that even at this hospital, no basic treatment was administered. While en route to Jayadeva, Venkataramanan reportedly experienced chest pain again, causing the couple to fall from the scooter.

CCTV footage captured a taxi driver stopping to assist them, and he transported both to Jayadeva Hospital. Sadly, the doctors there pronounced Venkataramanan dead. Later, his family made the decision to donate his eyes.
