Aneesh, the driver of Shine, shared details about the unfortunate event with a local news outlet. He explained that CP Chacko was seated behind the driver without a seatbelt and succumbed to his injuries before they could reach the hospital. Aneesh recounted, "He left us before we could take him to the hospital. Shine was in the back seat and was unresponsive during the ride. When he fell silent, we realized he had passed away. It shattered our hopes."

Details of the Journey

The family had departed from Ernakulam around 10 PM and arrived in Salem by 6 AM. Aneesh noted that the accident occurred when a lorry in front of them abruptly changed lanes, leading to a collision.
