A tragic incident occurred in the Kokhraj area of Kaushambi district on Friday, resulting in the death of a lawyer due to a car collision. According to police reports, the victim, identified as 45-year-old Subhash Maurya, was riding his motorcycle after refueling at a petrol station near the village of Parsara.

While he was on his way, an out-of-control car struck his motorcycle from behind, leading to his immediate death at the scene. The local police station chief, Chandrabhooshan Maurya, confirmed that the body of the deceased lawyer has been sent for a post-mortem examination.

Following the accident, the driver fled the scene, but authorities have since seized the vehicle involved. Maurya stated that further legal actions are being pursued in connection with the incident.
