Tragic Accident Claims Life of Laborer in Kushinagar District

Fatal Incident at Brick Kiln

A tragic accident occurred near a brick kiln in the Mathia village area of Kushinagar district, resulting in the death of a laborer. Local authorities reported the incident on Wednesday.

According to Arvind Rai, the in-charge of Mathouli police station, the victim, identified as 60-year-old America Patel, son of Ramdev Patel, was employed at the brick kiln in Mathia. On Tuesday night, he was engaged in transporting soil at the site.

During this operation, a tractor trolley overturned, causing America Patel, who was standing nearby, to be trapped and injured. The owner of the kiln rushed him to the district hospital, but due to the severity of his injuries, doctors referred him to Gorakhpur Medical College. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries en route.

Authorities have stated that the body will be taken into custody for an autopsy, and an investigation into the incident is currently underway.
