Tragic Accident Claims Life of 62-Year-Old in Keonjhar District

Fatal Incident on Kusumita Ghati Road

Keonjhar: A tragic incident occurred on Sunday when a 62-year-old man lost his life after falling into a roadside drain on Kusumita Ghati road, located within the Baradapal panchayat and Sadar police jurisdiction.

The victim, identified as Bauru Dehuri from Ichinda village, reportedly lost his footing and fell into the drain, leading to his immediate death. Local residents alerted the authorities, prompting police to arrive at the scene and transport the body for a post-mortem examination.

The exact cause of death remains undetermined and will be confirmed following the post-mortem results, according to Sub-Inspector Satyajit Nayak from the Sadar police station.

A case has been filed regarding this incident, and investigations are currently underway.
