Key Traffic Restrictions:

Access to Kamakhya Foothill Restricted

Only vehicles possessing valid passes issued by the District Administration will be permitted to approach the Kamakhya Temple. Emergency vehicles, such as ambulances and fire trucks, are exempt from this restriction.

Limited Ferry Car Operations

Ferry cars will only be allowed to operate between 5 PM and 10 PM with the appropriate passes.

Pandu Port Road Designation

This road will now function as an emergency route and will not accommodate regular ferry car traffic.

Pilgrim Route Diversions

Pilgrims arriving from Jalukbari will utilize the service lane of Nilachal Flyover, dropping off at NF Railway HQ Gate No. 3 before taking a U-turn to park at Adabari Bus Stand or Boripara Field.

Those coming from Bharalumukh will also use the service lane of Nilachal Flyover, dropping off near Railway Gate No. 4.

Prohibition of Roadside Parking

Roadside parking is strictly forbidden on several roads, including Pandu Port Road, Borbazar Road, Bharalumukh Elevator Corridor, D.G. Road, and Nilachal Flyover.

Restrictions on Commercial Vehicles

Goods vehicles, including slow-moving three-wheelers, will face restrictions on major roads like MG Road, AT Road, and DG Road from 5 AM to 11 PM.

Ban on Long-Distance and Inter-District Buses

Heavy Vehicle Restrictions

Heavy vehicles will not be allowed to travel from NH-27 towards Gosala via Tetelia.

Advice for Airport Travelers

Travelers heading to LGBI Airport are advised to use NH-27 and plan their routes ahead of time due to potential traffic congestion.
