Tragic Incident in Shamli District

In a shocking incident in the Jhijhana area of Shamli, a trader was reportedly beaten to death while he was out purchasing hay. This information was disclosed by the police on Sunday.


According to police reports, a group of unidentified individuals attacked 27-year-old Ankush Kumar for reasons that remain unclear in the village of Keratu.


The Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), Santosh Kumar Singh, informed reporters that Ankush had traveled on his motorcycle from his village Nagla in Muzaffarnagar to buy hay in Keratu.


His body was later discovered outside a roadside eatery along the Meerut-Karnal highway near the village. Family members have accused the assailants of brutally killing Ankush.


The ASP stated that based on the family's complaint, a case has been registered against Rajbir, Jaiveer, and Ankit under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. All suspects are currently at large, and the police are actively searching for them.


The ASP assured that the police are investigating the matter thoroughly and are confident that the culprits will be apprehended soon.
