In the midst of the monsoon season, visitors are seen bathing in the perilous waters of Manjhi Khad located near Gaggal in Kangra, endangering their safety. Local residents have raised alarms about the stream's swift currents and unpredictable nature, noting that rainfall in the hills can cause water levels to surge dramatically within minutes.

Residents highlighted that Dharamshala often experiences sudden rainfall, which exacerbates the danger. They warned that the khad appears to have no clear endpoint, and even brief rain can lead to flash floods, creating a significant risk for anyone in the vicinity.

Community members have urged tourists to steer clear of rivers and streams during the rainy season, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing safety for themselves and their families. They reiterated that taking precautions is essential to avert potential disasters.
