Tipra Motha Party Celebrates Major Victory in TTAADC Elections
Tipra Motha Party's Remarkable Win
On Friday, Pradyot Bikram Manikya Debbarma, the founder of the Tipra Motha Party, attributed the party's success in the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) elections to the support of the people, the community, and the state.
In an interview, Debbarma expressed pride in his party's victory against larger political rivals, viewing it as a response from the impoverished citizens of Tripura. He reaffirmed his commitment to advocating for the rights of indigenous people.
Debbarma stated, "This victory is not mine; it belongs to the people. It conveys a clear message. This is not a personal win for me, but a triumph for our community and the state. It sends a strong signal that even if you are a small party, if we remain dedicated to the rights of our people and the next generation, we can prevail against any opponent, regardless of their wealth or administrative power. Today, the poor of Tripura have given us a significant mandate, indicating how we should proceed to ensure our next generation is safeguarded with constitutional rights."
Election Results Overview
The Tipra Motha Party achieved a stunning victory in the TTAADC elections, securing 24 out of 28 seats, while the BJP managed to win only 4 seats.
