Three Killed in Revenge Attack Linked to Family Feud in Patton Village

Tragic Incident in Patton Village
On Wednesday, law enforcement reported that a violent altercation stemming from a long-standing feud between two families resulted in the deaths of three individuals at a roadside eatery near Patton village, located on the outskirts of the city.
Authorities revealed that seven suspects have been detained in connection with the crime, and the investigation is ongoing. The incident reportedly took place shortly after midnight on Tuesday.
The deceased have been identified as Siddharudha (32), Jagdish (25), and Ramchandra (35), all of whom were related and worked at the eatery.
Police Commissioner Sharanappa SD from Kalaburagi stated that a case has been registered based on a complaint involving 11 individuals at the Kalaburagi suburban police station.
He indicated that the motive behind the attack appears to be rooted in an old rivalry between two families from the same community. According to him, the two victims killed today had previously been involved in the murder of the brother of one of the accused, Somu Talikoti, last year. This incident seems to be an act of revenge.
The police commissioner also noted that the main suspect in the murder of Somu Talikoti is still incarcerated, and both Siddharudha and Jagdish had recently been released from prison.
