Three Convicted for Murder Sentenced to Life Imprisonment in Bulandshahr

Life Sentences for Murder Convicts

A local court in Bulandshahr has sentenced three individuals to life imprisonment for their involvement in a murder case dating back to May 2022.

According to government advocate Bhupendra Singh, Mahendra, a resident of Danpur village in the Debai police jurisdiction, was shot dead by unidentified assailants on the night of May 12, 2022.

The case was registered at the Debai police station following a complaint from the victim's son. After an investigation, three suspects—Ahsan, Seth, and Sonu—were apprehended. During questioning, the suspects admitted that they had gone to Mahendra's enclosure to steal goats on the night of the incident.

However, Mahendra woke up and caught Seth in the act. In response, Seth shot Mahendra with a country-made pistol, leading to his death. Singh reported that after hearing arguments from both sides, Additional District Judge Vinay Chaudhary found all three defendants guilty and sentenced them to life imprisonment along with a fine of ₹20,000 each.
