Cyber Fraud Investigation Leads to Arrests

In Gautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, law enforcement officials apprehended three suspects on Friday night in connection with a significant cyber fraud case involving a senior female lawyer. The accused are alleged to have defrauded her of over ₹3.29 crore through a scheme termed 'digital arrest.'


According to Preeti Yadav, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Cyber Crime), the elderly lawyer residing in Noida's Sector 47 filed a complaint stating that unknown cybercriminals had executed a 'digital arrest' and swindled her out of ₹3,29,70,000.


The police have identified the arrested individuals as Dupender Singh, Vinay Samaniya, and Mandeep. Authorities are actively searching for additional suspects involved in this incident.
