Kota News: A troubling incident has emerged from Kota, Rajasthan, raising serious concerns about police vigilance and patrolling. A cunning thief broke into a bakery and tea shop located just 20 steps away from the Gumanpura police station. Surprisingly, the thief carried out the theft for approximately 45 minutes without alerting the police stationed nearby.
According to reports, the incident occurred on March 31 around 3:30 AM. The targeted shop is directly in front of the Gumanpura police station, a place frequently visited by police personnel for tea. CCTV footage reveals an unidentified thief breaking the locks on the shop's shutter and entering. During this time, the shutter remained open about a foot, yet the patrolling officers and guards at the station failed to notice.

Shopkeeper Amit Chaudhary reported that the thief made off with expensive cigarette packets, gutkha, and other valuable food items. Additionally, he took five large boxes filled with coins from the cash register. It is estimated that the thief escaped with goods worth around 70,000 rupees.
