However, there is a particular type of oil that has been linked to numerous fatalities. According to research from the Kerala Ayurvedic University, refined oil is responsible for the deaths of approximately 2 million individuals each year.


Health Risks Associated with Refined Oil

The consumption of refined oil can lead to severe health issues, including DNA damage, RNA destruction, heart attacks, blockages, brain damage, strokes, diabetes, hypertension, impotence, cancer, weakened bones, joint pain, back pain, kidney damage, liver dysfunction, high cholesterol, reduced vision, reproductive disorders, and skin diseases.


How Refined Oil is Processed

The extraction of oil involves using seeds with their husks. During this process, impurities are removed, and the oil is refined to eliminate taste, odor, and color. This refining process includes washing the oil with water, salt, caustic soda, sulfur, potassium, acids, and other hazardous substances to remove impurities. This method produces a thick waste similar to tar, which is often repurposed for tire manufacturing. Unfortunately, the acids used in refining can render the oil toxic.
